City of Sammamish Corridor Proposals Include Renaissance Ridge Streets

The City of Sammamish is considering proposals for another corridor through the city besides 228th Ave, and some of their plans include using 240th or 242nd Avenues in Renaissance Ridge.

Next Meeting: Wednesday, January 22nd, 6:30 pm, at Beaver Lake Middle School

If you would like to discuss this issue with Renaissance Ridge neighbors, there is an MSN group online discussion page for Renaissance Ridge: http://groups.msn.com/244thCorridor

Here is an excerpt from Mike Jacob's e-mail to the Renaissance Ridge HOA:

"I attended the 244th Corridor study on 9/18.  It was a very interesting meeting.  All in all, the crowd was very much against the idea of a North/South corridor being built in Eastern Sammamish.

The city proposed 6 alternative routes they are considering.  5 of the 6 routes had traffic being routed through or next to Renaissance Ridge.  This study and proposed city action should be a major concern to the residents of our neighborhood.
We can affect change if we stand together and make our opinions known to the city."

If you do not want the City to build a road that runs through or next to our neighborhood please attend the next meeting and let your voice be heard!
