The Renaissance Ridge Homeowners
Association is led by a Board of Directors that consists
of five members:
The five members of the Board serve in a staggered,
two-year term. In even-numbered years the Vice-President
and Secretary are elected, and in odd-numbered years the
President, Treasurer, and At-Large are elected.
Staggering ensures that an entirely new Board is not
elected in one year, and allows the second-year members
to help mentor the first-year members.
The Board appoints a chairperson to lead a committee
for a full, one-year term. The current committees are:

Board of Directors
Don Corbett, President, 2007-2008 ( president@rridge.org )
 |
As leader of the pack, the President
oversees the Board and is in charge of scheduling meetings, setting the
agenda, and running the show!
Don lives in The Reserve and has been President of the
board and a board member almost every year since the HOA started in
2001. He is recruiting new board members and can help answer
questions. |
John Digenan,
Vice-President, 2007-2008 ( vp@rridge.org )
 |
The main duty of the Vice-President is
to help lead and assist any of the efforts of the President, and to take
his place when needed.
John has been the treasurer for many years and is helping
mentor new board members. |
Yogesh Gupta,
Treasurer, 2007-2009 ( treasurer@rridge.org )
The financial health of
the HOA is the main concern of the Treasurer. Establishing the budget,
signing the checks, and ensuring that money is spent or saved correctly
are the main duties.
Bev Day, Secretary, 2007-2009 (
secretary@rridge.org )
The duties of the Secretary are to keep and maintain the association's
records, meeting minutes, directory of homeowners, and to oversee all
aspects of communication.
Michael Rose, Jr., Director At-Large, 2007-2009 (
atlarge@rridge.org )
The
Director At-Large acts as a liaison between some of the HOA committees
and the Board and participates on the board in general.
Committee Chairs
Architecture
Control Committee (ACC) ( acc@rridge.org )
Chair:
Dan Alling
The ACC is described in the CC&Rs and is a required
committee. It processes applications for home
construction and addition changes. The committee meets at least once a month to determine a
consistent set of standards, discuss and vote on architecture change
applications, and educate homeowners on architectural issues.
Finance
Committee ( finance@rridge.org )
Chair: Yogesh Gupta
The main job of the Finance Committee is to examine last
year's budget and to determine this year's budget. Led by
the Treasurer, the committee members look for ways to
save the RRHOA money and to project future expenses.
Social
Committee ( social@rridge.org )
Chair: Kim Mason
Bringing neighbors together to enjoy the neighborhood is
what the Social Committee is all about. They plan and
coordinate events for all neighbors; sometimes just for
adults and sometimes just for kids. See the Events page for a description of upcoming events.
Webmaster ( web@rridge.org )
Brett Waldbaum
The
internet is a valuable tool for disseminating
information in our tech-savvy neighborhood. The Webmaster maintains the HOA's e-mail system and web site, works closely
with the board to update content and send all-neighborhood e-mails, and looks for
ways to technically improve the web site and to add richer content.
